Welcome to the Belize Photo Gallery.
In this gallery you will see my 3 different trips in order. The first trip to the island of Ambergris Caye -to which Madonna made a song called La Isla Bonita. I swam with the sharks off Shark / Ray Alley and swam in the waters of Hol Chan marine sanctuary. The island is peaceful and everyone is Very friendly. Nearby within a short boat trip is the Blue Hole - made famous by world-reknown diver/explorer Jacques Cousteau. Belize is home to the second largest Barrier reef and the people respect the national treasures of their waters, caves, jungles, and Many Mayan temples and artifacts.
Inland there are opportunities for jungle hikes for birding including the famous scarlet macaw, visits to the Jaguar sanctuary - the only one in the world, caving - both dry and in water (tubing) as well as peaceful hikes to waterfalls, and Very special Mayan ruins and Temples -bringing peace to body, mind, & soul.
You will be viewing my journeys to St Herman's cave, Nim Li Punit, my visit to the Mayan village near Nim Li Punit, Lubaantuun, Ho keb Ha Cave, Rio on Frio Cave and pools, the water's off Placencia where I swam with the whale sharks, Cahal Pech, Xunantunich, Caracol, and lastly in Guatemala the world famous Tikal.
